CNC machining a front lit Aston Martin V8 Vantage style gauge cluster out of anodized aluminum and stainless with cool white LEDs. Maybe I'll put Nitrons on too although with my recent focus on putting money in the bank above all other priorities, we'll see.

Taking the car to the cabin up north this weekend. One last drive up and around on M22, then putting it away for the winter. Nitron Doubles, RTD Brace, Oil Pan, Engine Mounts, Wheel Studs, Fire Extinguisher all going on this spring after I make all my purchases this winter. Can not wait for Gingerman next May!

Yeah, I got Nitrons installed yesterday, so this weekend is probably the last one for me also before mothballs.

Hoping to have time to install the BWR SC I bought last october.

Hmm, see a few engine swap replies. Was hoping someone would be working on an electric conversion. I assume that eventually my motor will meet its end through either neglect or a simple mod (like a SC that I don`t qet quite right).

So who is working on this?

One motor with shafts or two wheel motors?

Batteries in one place or distributed to control weight distribution and cooling?

What kind of batteries?

Yep the batteries would probably cost more than the car is worth,
but I really like the acceleration I have seen in the Tesla and Detroit Electric`s Elise.

I figured I would stop by. I used to buy quite allot of parts from those guys when I was going thru my rebuild. I should run back up there and see what’s new.

This winter I need to:

1)finish my engine rebuild and get it running again.
2)install my oil cooler thermostat.
3)install my new electric chargecooler pump to replace the mechanical pump.
4)install my new fog light to replace the broken one.
5)refurbish my roof panel with the new headliner that my friend made.
6)install the Elise seats to replace my leather huge Esprit seats, since I don't really fit under the steering wheel comfortably.
7)finish the design and fabrication of my Brembo racing brakes.
8)flush out and repair my oil coolers
9)repaint the engine bay walls
10)repaint my engine plenum, valve covers, and intercooler metallic grey instead of the crinkle orange.

Done so far
11)installed Quaife LSD in the transaxle.
12)finally got head machined correctly
13)got piston rings gapped, and connecting rod bushings installed and reamed to fit.
14)bought all engine parts for rebuild.

I guess I have some work cut out for me
