Fitting my hardtop to show the car at a "Fall Festival" this weekend.

For some reason local churches are afraid to say "Halloween" forgetting the holiday, like Christmas, has both Pagan and Christian roots.

I then plan on enjoying the car except for the 10-15 "frigid" days (read 5-10 degrees below freezing) we have every year.

Like Vulcan, I have a lot on the slate. So much that I'm going to make a thread to solicit the advice of this group about what to tackle in what order.

The biggest project is a TVS/EFI package. I hope to get some driving instruction under my belt next month if the weather and my budget allow. If I can't, then the s/c may have to wait.

I'll also be adding suspension upgrades, harnesses, flywheel and clutch, some appearance items.

3)install my new electric chargecooler pump to replace the mechanical pump.
4)install my new fog light to replace the broken one.
5)refurbish my roof panel with the new headliner that my friend made.
6)install the Elise seats to replace my leather huge Esprit seats, since I don't really fit under the steering wheel comfortably.
7)finish the design and fabrication of my Brembo racing brakes.
8)flush out and repair my oil coolers
9)repaint the engine bay walls
10)repaint my engine plenum, valve covers, and intercooler metallic grey instead of the crinkle orange.

Done so far
11)installed Quaife LSD in the transaxle.
12)finally got head machined correctly
13)got piston rings gapped, and connecting rod bushings installed and reamed to fit.
14)bought all engine parts for rebuild.

I guess I have some work cut out for me
You forgot a couple...

15) Put it all back together finally
16) Let me drive her!

My current winter project. These are the mold stations for my 20' steam pinnace (engine pic previously posted.) Just finished resawing some white cedar for the keel and stem. Have to attach those to the mold stations then I can start the planking....Dave

winter LOTUS projects

Oh, sorry, I didn't get the Lotus part??!!?? I have thought about naming the boat "Pond Lotus" though, does that count? My winter Lotus project is to pull the radiator on the S1 and get it to Griffin Radiator as they say they can fix my hot weather cooling issue on track. Interstingly, it only occurs when ambients are over 80...Dave

just installed my hidden panel mounted AUX input for my MP3 player last weekend... Intended to get pics, but I get so excited doing a project that I never do... Maybe I will get a pic of it installed.. It is in the drivers side cubby, on the ceiling of the cubby... I was so proud
