Maybe if it was an exceptional deal I would say yes. But for around $32K, you can find non rental 05 cars for that price. Just look in the for sale section on this forum.

I agree with many of these statements. However, the car only has 7K miles. If the elise can't stand up to many more miles after being a rental for a short time, then that's pretty poor.

I test drove the one at Hawthorne...they wanted $41k for it at the time...

I know someone who rented an Elise in Hawaii recently. When he told me the story last week, this was a direct quote:

"Not to mention it's a rental car so no points for careful drivers not to mention the speed bumps..."
