"Are you a Lotus Driver?" advertising DVD - LotusTalk

So has anyone else seen one of these? A friend of my wife's (a car enthusiast, but not a Lotus owner) received it in the mail and gave it to my wife since she knew I had an Elise. It's an advertising DVD with subsections on Elise, Exige, Philosophy, Manufacturing, Lotus Cars and Gallery. I've only had time to watch the Manufacturing subsection, but it has a ton of great footage and commentary from Hethel.

Just curious if anyone else got one. I'm also curious what Lotus USA's criteria for the mailer was. I didn't get one and I *own* a Lotus!! Of course, my wife's friend lives in a bit more...umm...affluent neighborhood.

Is it possible to post it? Google has a video service that is free of charge and will host any video (depending on content, no porn) of any length.

I guess Lotus knows we're already Lotus drivers...You have to admire them-eliminating weight, even in their shipping department.

I have a DVD burner and can probably make copies for those who want them. Perhaps for a small donation to cover the DVD blank and postage.

I'll go home tonight and try to burn one to make sure I can successfully do it. If so, I'll report back here.

If only a couple of folks want one, I'll pay for the DVD and postage. But if I end up having to burn 30 of them, maybe I'll ask for a pittance to cover the cost.

Please PM me with your mailing address if you want one - that way I'll have a running list.

EDIT 6/10 - Due to overwhelming response, I'm out of DVD blanks. It'll probably be a couple of days before I can get over to Fry's to get some more. If you've already PM'ed me your mailing address, don't worry, you'll get one. I'll post again once I have more blanks.

Before everybody starts burning DVDs check with your dealer!!!!! I have no idea what the criteria was to get a direct mail piece, but the dealerships are supposed to get a big box of these things. Lotus misdirected most of the boxes to the wrong dealers (we got some labeled for Dallas) so give it about a week or two and you should be able to score a free non-burned DVD from your dealer of choice.

Much of the video content was filmed in conjunction with the shooting of the "Victory By Design" filming.
