You lucky dog!!
Took the day off to kayak the Ocoee river (Tennessee) with a few friends. While at the putin, a silver or graphite Elise drives by. Looked great. Sounded great!! Must have just picked it up.

hi jack,
IMHO you're the lucky one! I havent hit the water for years! My first boat was a Dagger Crossfire. I got a perception squirt boat last year but never used it and sold it too. ![]() Good spot on the elise.

Since Ive had this 67' mini I think I've heard " OH WHAT A CUTE CAR" about 50000 times.
I had hoped the elise would at least bump up to "cool" over "Cute" ![]()

I believe that was eliseowner2b from this list, just bought a graphite at LOA and was driving up in that area, he lives in Blairsville. Chris

Kayakjack and OFM,
My wife and I are kayakers too! My wife has a VCP Pintail and I have a Romany Explorer ( they are British made Sea Kayaks!). When we go to Atlanta we're goint to go check out some of the rivers in the area, maybe you could give us some pointers? My brother lives in the Marietta area and we need to go visit him soon. This is my wife's kayak business: Full Moon kayak Co.

Not a kayaker, but lots of nice streams, rivers up in the Dahlonega area, elise owner lives in Blairsville which is not far.

Fred,
I will e-mail you the latest newsletter of the Georgia Canoe Association. Great club. Check out the trip calendar. It is pretty extensive. I would pick an easy river if you are used to flat water, call the trip leader and go. If I can be of any help to you, just ask. If you drive to the area in an Elise, I would appreciate a ride!! Thanks, Jack |

kayakjack,
i'll fix my email settings so that you can ssend me an email. I'm definitelly not used to white water but we are pretty proficient sea kayakers and I think it would be just a matter of learning how to read the water to be able to do some more challenging rivers but thanks for the advice. Regarding the Elise, We might just do that. I'll keep yoy posted.

chris...think you'll be able to coerce all those LOA owners to bring their new toys by when LOA does the demo car shindig? it would be a great opportunity for lots of people to see several colors.

Chris, i don't know if you remember a green montero sport honking at you on 85 towards columbus last saturday, but that was me. I knew I should have brought my "Chris you bastard!!" pickett sign if i was traveling through atlanta.
Who was the guy or girl in the silver car in front of you? Thats the first time I have seen the elise on the streets and man did it look good. Too bad you guys were hauling some butt and I couldn't really keep up. -Whit |

I wondered who that was that honked, that was Barry, we were driving back to Columbus after picking up his silver car. He's a very happy boy, don't know if his wife is or not!
BTW> Hope a bunch of us can get together when LOA has the demo reception they're hoping to have now that they've finally gotten the car. Chris
