PRICE reduced - was $3500, now $2750 FIRM
Sounds like you are looking for an oversized trailer, but I might as well throw this out here as my trailer would fit an Elise or Exige perfectly.
I am in need of a wider trailer since I am putting on a widebody kit and running 275 series Hoosiers(on a miata), so I am needing at least 4 more inches side to side. I bought this trailer for $3900 from a guy that had a Formula Mazda open wheel race car, but it fits the Miata perfectly. It cost over $5200 new. The bed is 12'x7' and the tongue is less than 3 feet long so it fits in a garage perfectly It has electric brakes and an electric hookup for a winch, but he removed the winch Specs: * 12'x7' bed * 15'x8.5' overall * 950 lbs * electric brakes * rear stabilizer jacks (for use during loaded storage) * front tonque mounted folding roller jack * SIX foot aluminum ramps stored under the bed, rear access * electric winch w/remote control(not currently connected, but will sell with trailer) Even used, it cost substantially more than a steel trailer with comparable options, however it fits in the garage(with the car) and it is extremely light so I can move it around by hand when unloaded. I love this trailer, but I have to buy a trailer with an 8' bed since I will not be able to load/store my car once I run the 275/35/15 Hoosiers on 1" spacers + my big mofo N2 fender flares. It is nearly wide enough, but I would have to add booster ramps to the bed and cut the fenders off, so it is not worth it. My Miata has 225/45/15 Hoosiers & RA1's on +30mm wheels so it is substiantially wider than spec Miatas - overall width is 67 inches front and 68 inches rear(outer tire to outer tire) and I have a tad under 2 inches clearance on each side. SM's would have about 3 inches clearance on each side which is plenty. Anyone looking to trade their 8'+ wide trailer with me (+cash, depending on the trade). Length is not that important to me, although I doubt anyone has a 12 ft steel trailer to trade, lol. However, it must have elect brakes. I am in Sonoma county, about 50 miles north of SanFrancisco fwiw. Since the attachments feature isn't working, here are the links to the attachments if anyone wants to see pictures: http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/atta...1&d=1259117993 http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/atta...1&d=1259117993 http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/atta...1&d=1259117993 Last edited by minime : 11-24-2009 at 06:11 PM. Check out CNC trailers. They have a Lotus Spec trailer that they are working on.

An Option....
I've had really good success with the Aluma 8112 trailer. The deck is almost the exact length of the car. Included ramps work for the car (but i do have to park the truck's rear end on ramps). Only 600 lbs, it went at high freeway speeds with no trouble. It is a single axle, so a spare is critical. I back up onto the trailer, so more weight is forward, and there was no tail wagging at all.
Retail is something like $2399.
