Don't expect a road version in the USA, the author is wrong...

"...with plans to build 300 in the next three years." I can't imagine they'll have any trouble selling all of them at that price point! I, too, didn't think it would be street-legal over here. Does the Edmunds guy know something we don't?

Haha, he says it's street legal, which I believe is true in England, and it's coming to the US, which is also true? But, it can easily be read as a list of two things, rather than the street legal describing the coming to the US.

I don't believe the author is correct about the "stability system" either. I believe he is describing the traction control system.

Agreed. No stability management on a 2-eleven.

Think those seats would fit in an Elise? I'm still looking for some with harness holes.

They look like normal Exige seats to me (with a custom trim pattern), but that's just from a quick photo comparison; I don't have an Exige handy to check. If they are, then they probably fit but keep in mind they only handle up to 4-point harnesses.

They are standard "Sport" Lotus seats. I can order them in any one of half a dozen stitch patterns and almost endless leather/ alcantera combinations. If you are seriously interested, let me know.

Phantom, if this car is street legal, we will both be driving to Barber "from the house." I live in Alabama too.

Yes, there are some strange looking half-rusted/disintegrated cars -- parts held on with wire -- roaming the streets here. Theoretically, it may be possible to have 2 Eleven registered as a kit, but if car comes from assembled from the manufacturer this may prove difficult. You need a certificate or origin from the manufacturer, as well as bills of sale from the various components, and assembler.
