Lotus Esprit in commercial for eye liner? - LotusTalk

I just thought I'd post this, I havent seen an Esprit in anything recent on the TV, however last night I was watching a show and DVRed back to see a commercial for, I think it was Rimmel London eyeliner, and there is very briefly an Esprit done up like a taxi or police car with checkerboard graphics on it.

I saw that too, think it was done as a Police car. Hard to tell as the clip went by so quick but it was a yellow Esprit.

it most definitely had lights on top of it, but didn't seem to be a police car or taxi though.

On a side note, what's up with the model. Being used to the American Models, when I initially saw it, I thought they were making some sort of a joke. lol. Not saying she is ugly, not just as refined as I'm used to seeing here

I don't get it. Are teeth like that considered attractive over there? Why would they choose that girl as a model?

I watch alot of the educational TV, and I had heard in the past that at one time the UK had a shortage of dentists, and to see a dentist was something that you had to make an appointment for a year in advance (hence the bad teeth stereotype), also in the same show, they said at one time there were so many rats that you were never more than something like 4 feet from one, due to the lack of or improper sewer system, I dont know if it was the UK or just London, but it was an interesting show.

I'm British and even I have to say her teeth look funny. She looks like Bugs Bunny!

The thing with models is they're usually chosen for a distinctive look. Sometimes a quirk is considered a positive by the kind of people who make these decisions.

I suppose one thing to remember is the model is intended to appeal to women, not men.

^^^ You know, the Esprit looks plastic...err, not in the Glass-Fiber sense, but as if it were a 1/25th MODEL that was photoshopped into the scenes.

Now, I have to look at the girl again, just to see if I like her teeth.

Her teeth are good for any standarts - healthy, white, pretty even. She has a diastema. So what? That makes her different from others.

Could an orthodontist make in killing in old blighty, or would no-one be interested?

In the US, nearly every child gets issues like that corrected before the age of 16.
