Tinted Polycarbonate Elise/Exige Hardtop (Visium) For Sale

I just traded in my 2006 Elise since my Evora 400 just arrived and so I now have this beautiful top without a home. I'm in the Seattle area so if you're nearby let me know if you want to see it in person. I ordered it from Visium in Italy and it's only been used a few times, mint condition. Comes with all of the fittings, tool, cleaner, and soft storage cover. They even used some of my pictures on their gallery:

Lotus Elise S2

Willing to part with it for $2,000 OBO. Would prefer if you're close enough to Seattle for pick-up or drop-off.

With shipping I paid around $2800. I believe it's the same as the one on eBay from mrfiat for $2590 ($100 shipping).

I have one of these for my Tesla Roadster. They're awesome.

Makes the car feel really "big" inside. Has the added bonus of making the car more driveable in town (you can look through the top and see traffic lights, even when you're the first car in line).

Also, they're A TON easier to put on and take off than the stock hardtop.

How do they go on and off? It's not the same as the stock hardtop?

I think he's just saying it's lighter.

Not only lighter but, a different mounting system.

There are little "teets" that stick out of the front (that are adjustable). These fit into the holes that the soft-top side rails fit into.

You have to adjust them the first time you install the top. After that, it just drops into place.

The rear fits similar to the factory rear - a little L-bracket that fits into the notch in the back.

But, one person can drop the top into place (with the front "teets" slipping into place first, then lowering the back onto it). Tighten up 2 Allen screws to tighten the clamp in the rear down...and you're done.

5 minutes, if you're in a hurry. 10 if you take it slow, and also put the plastic covers over the rear clamps (for looks - they're also held on with Allen screws)
