Any Funny or Interesting Christmas Cards?
Anyone get any interesting ones. We always have that one family - friends of my parents I haven't seen in 10 years - that always sends us weird cards with 'kid-like' pictures of their kids.
Of note this year: - A good friend I used to work with who's young blond daughter is now a junior at University of Wisconsin. She's about 5'10" and frankly, one of the hottest girls you'll ever see. Anyway, their XMAS card has the obligatory 'photo montage' and two of the pics are from their trip to Aruba and features said smoking hot daughter in a little bikini. Oh my! Had to explain to my wife why that XMAS card was in our bathroom! ![]() - A card of a family in the neighborhood that is getting divorced and the card has pictures of the husband with the kids and wife with the kids, but none together. Creepy. - A card with two photos - both horribly out of focus. Can't even tell what we are looking at. Here's my favorite though - from M Parts in the UK. They own the remaining stock of Moke parts and a I bought a bunch from them when I restored the Moke. Very cool card. Show me watcha got (over under on the 'hey post the card of the hot daughter in bikini' reply?):

We got a bunch of the usual cards but two stuck out more than the rest.
A friend, who is an avid deer hunter, sent a photo card of his 10 year old son and his younger brother posing over a 6 pointer with his compound bow in the field. Below the photo, it reads: “DEAR SANTA, PLEASE BEING US WHAT WE WANT FOR CHRISTMAS OR DASHER AND DANCER ARE NEXT. MAKE IT HAPPEN FAT MAN.” I thought that was pretty funny. But here is my favorite from Sports and Specialist Cars: |

Playing on line while I wait for the kids to fall into REM sleep so I can bust out my Santa vibe!
Good one came up tonite. Went to a neighbors for a little Christmas Eve cocktail thing. Here's a great Christmas hot foot. Our neighbor Katherine got a card from someone - random family with pictures of their kids. She then take that card and mails it to a different neighbor/friend and adds a personal message as if she were the family on the card - 'Hey Amanda, had a great time with you guys in Traverse City. Wow, the kids are getting big. We're planning on coming back to Chicago in February. We'll see you then!' Classic. Amanda looks at the card with this personalized message and has no idea who the people are and what it meants! Classic.
