Ok it is on, I was attacked again and all my troops destroyed by Fungicid from fungipolis...
I guess him and this other guy have something going. I need every resource you can spare, especially sulfur. Thanks.

Fungicide from Fungiopolis is on the same island as DrJ and has a military score of 13... but is 11 hours away from me. I've got a spy on the way. That will only take three hours.

Thats OK, I have to rebuild my trading port to accept anything from you guys, and that cant happen until my wall is finished, so maybe 5 hours or so until I can accept any trade.

My first colony is coming up. I'm in desperate need of Marble. I'm at 51:65 and am planning on setting up at 56:64, Half way to 61:65 and DR J. Any other suggestions on location and colonizing.

Maybe I should build closer? not get into a fight with those you are at war with?

I guess you just need to make sure that it isn't worth their while to attack you. I sent some resources but I really don't have much sulfur to spare. I trashed my sulfur colony in order to move closer to everyone else so it will be a while until I can really offer any assistance over there.

ok? ive been away for a bit. whats the deal. how many times have you been attacked/ blockaded? and by how many islands towns? i looked at the town you posted the other day, the bigger guy is part of a much larger alliance.. that said, if we push back, it may get bad for all of us. my suggestion! whos ever the diplomat should send the little guy the big brother and the big brothers alliance and explain the situation. he was attacked first, and then retaliated. then all this ****.
if that dont work, then i will throw my hands up and attack., hoping for the best. we all may want to consider the probability's and all of us start building up our milt. also, drj, do you have another island not bing attacked? id focus on that ones development, and reduce everything on the other one for now. |

I do not have any other place, I am only a level 5 town at the moment, I bought some sulfur, and hopefully will buy some more in a bit so I can make more than slingers.
In the meantime, my trading port is back up if anyone has sulfur to spare. one more question, how do I make more money? edit: I was attacked once by the big guy and once by the smaller guy, who also blockaded my port.

Since we are so small yet... and since Exarkun is the only one with much of an army yet...
I suggest you just do nothing. Just ignore them and keep building up while keeping yourself as unattractive a target as possible.

Hi guys, I am nontoxic... I been a lurker (I guess almost stalkerish level considering how much I keep up with the forum and not post) on this forum for a long time. I figured I give this game a try, and even though its slow paced, still entertaining.
I guess here is my little introduction. I am currently attending Texas A&M as an economics major and ever since I saw a lotus running around town, I have decided I MUST have one. Of course this is little difficult to do while paying for tuition and living expenses (by working at a sandwich shop), but hopefully armed with my degree and willingness to bust my butt I will be fortunate enough to be an owner. Well I guess that's my first post ![]() |

Also, my capital is sulfur and I probably could spare some, is there a blockade coming your way or is it safe to send the resources over?
And about blackberries, I have curve and I can play Ikariam with Opera Mini, it's not bad to do some basic maintenance and town stuff, but trying to setup pillaging gets little complicated with slow EDGE network and small screen. Lastly, Please add my towns to the list Island Shydeos [50:45] Town Aggieland Sulfur Island Kapios [46:42] Town Polis (will change name soon) Marble Last edited by nontoxic9182 : 11-24-2008 at 03:52 AM. They are still attacking me and looting small amounts of whatever they can and destroying my army every time, it is very frustrating.
It is safe to send me stuff now, the blockade is over and there are no ships on their way at last check. I could use some marble too, no one near me is willing to trade any. oh, and there is definitely something going on between the little guy and the big guy, the little guy tried attacking me and was defeated again, so then the big guy attacked me and wiped out my army.

Stop wasting money on army.
Just keep your chopping up enough to prevent any gold accumulation, and spend the wood on upgrades as much as possible. xtn
