nope... id like to add, regards to the group that got me started in this game, theve said that they have had people join their alliance, only to spy... and then with in days be under attack from a much larger army... just saying. also still no idea who rubas is? maybe we should keep it lt, or lt and friends... just a thought.

also, a nominate z as a special rank. hes got the second largest army among us, and as far as i can tell, is logged on quite a bit. pillages more then any one else also.

I think Exarkun has a good point, unless we know who they are, and they are on Etalk, lets not let them in.

If they are so boneheaded that they are on here, and see this thread but cant identify themselves, would we really want them anyway?

The plan always was to keep it LT. I just didn't know if anyone knew the two people I mentioned. When someone applies and doesn't mention LT in their app, I ask you guys. I never wanted to make this a huge alliance, I wanted a small tight alliance full of people willing to help each other if they can.

I've just recently started mass pillaging. I also work from home on the computer hence the reason I'm on so much

sounds like we are on the same page then...

so then, i think in the future those applying may want to post on lt prior, or at the very least include lt in the application. if we come across a random person, maybe we can through a message up asking some one to vouch?

as to rubas? any thoughts? i sent a message asking how he came to be with us.. his response,

That's an understatement. And as for being a member a long time... I look at when I joined and am surprised. It doesn't seem like that long. This is a great community, though, and I'm sad to have moved from California where I could really enjoy meeting other Lotus enthusiasts. I met a lot of great people there.

Also, what is the most efficient attacking unit? I'm getting bored of simply growing, especially now that I have four colonies. I need to attack some of the poor saps around me.

phalanx's unless you have archers.. after that gunmen are great, and steam giants are the best....

i have 100-120 phalanxs per city.. i use 3-5 per wave of attack on an inactive. everyso often i lose one.

i keep at least 30 archers in my small citys and my 2 big citys at least 50. i dont really use them to attack though. for pillaging an inactive, i think the best are the phalanxs...

for defense... a mix of them and archers. but then again, if you have a good fleet, you dont even need that. i keep 30 fully upgraded flame ships, and 20 ram ships in every port.

i start to research paddle wheel tomorrow.. once i get that i will replace them all with the paddle wheels.

I just pillage 20+ sized towns that are inactive and have no military or a very small military....no military, I send 5 phalanx or 5 archers otherwise I send enough to cover their army.....My two best farms at the moment return 17 and 13 cargo ships worth of goods each wave

one issue now is I cant build fast enough to stop from maxing out dome supplies.....so if some of you smaller towns need anything, send me a message in game.

Can you even get a level 5 palace yet? I thought that you couldn't store enough goods with the maxed out warehouse to get there.

wine - 96,256

wood- 216,576

lv 18 warehouse will hold enough

Hmmm... in the library it only shows up to Warehouse level 16 for me. Oh well, I'm far from that point at the moment.
