Oh on another note. I don't know if I agree about sulphur being the least valuable. Every military unit you create needs quite a bit of it. I can see it being behind grape but I'd put it on par with the others and because there is less of it being mined, it might make it more rare and more valuable. I can see once you build up your army that it wouldn't be as important but right now I'm scrambling for the stuff.

In the beginning I'd say building your capital, and researching is the most important things to do. There is no real way to go on the offense early. I'm just now starting to hammer some of the idle towns near me.
All the different buildings are important in their own way. It all depends on what you are trying to do next. I emphasized research and the barracks only upgrading the town center when I had to but I do build the buildings when they become available. |

i worked on research for the first few days. with out it your limited. i was lucky in that i was not attacked at all military was 0 till after i was at level 10. and even now my mil is all focused on defense.
