pillaged my first couple towns today... That's pretty exciting.
(do you guys blockade the harbor first, then time the pillage to occur a few minutes after the harbor blockade?) Of course once I won, I got back and started beefing up defenses... But then realized phalanxes, ships, etc cost a lot to keep up... Anyone got a good idea as to how to get more money in the game? Cheers, -Darryl PS: What's the benefit of an alliance? And how do I initiate trade treaties?

I haven't gone after an active target yet but as I understand it you need to blockade well in advance of your attack because you don't want them to gather resources and dash with them before you arrive with your troops.

Hmmm... I think I sent the message to join the alliance of all that is good and right in the world, but I don't think it worked. I'll try again.

Anybody figured out the relationship between coordinate distance and ship speed?
I mean should I only trade/pillage in my own little island grouping, or are the times still reasonable if I trade/pillage 40 coordinate units away? xtn

ALSO, pay attention to your action points. this is my biggest hold up. every 5th level town(5,10,15,etc) you get an additional point. please check first post, make sure your islands are up to date. |

i used to play this game but it was too slow for me...then i found a game called tribal wars..they have diffrent speeds including a speed round that lasts about a week but you can have things completed in seconds and minutes not hours or days..same thing lots of fun too

I played "O Game" before this and it feels similar to me. It will speed up when you start going offensive. The idea for me is to always have an attack going. So in this game you have to send out spies looking for likely targets and get some good recon.

I threw 500 marble his way... but it's a 5 hour sail for me, one way. So it might take a while.
