What do we hope to gain by adding new members? I think we are doing rather well as it is. Or maybe not. Who knows, but we are doing well in the total rankings as a small group.

Should we consider the offer we had some time ago from 3GO?

I don't know how 3GO runs their alliance. Even so, I'd rather have us control things. We can make it how we want.

We are doing well but we're too small and we risk getting pushed around by larger alliances. We've already had several cases where we couldn't help a teammate for fear of bringing the wrath of bigger alliance down upon us.

When we get bigger I'd like to create a senate or some voting body that would be a sounding board for ideas, problems, etc. Also, they would have the power in the alliance. The leader would offer guidance and be a spokesperson but the senate and the citizens would have the final say. Senators however, are not voted into office.

I figure we break the map up into 5 sectors. top left, top right, central, bottom left, bottom right. We can come up with names later. Each sector has a commander that represents his area as well as being in charge of the people in his jurisdiction. Each commander is also automatically a member of the senate.

I don't know, that's what I've got so far.

i can take him, i just need to re work my troops. i dont know how to find out where his other towns are, but if we can im willing to bet hes got no army in any of his other towns.

ok, update. jelmer is the one attacking, peco is the one holding the town. they are really working together.

jelmer, has a general score of 12k. which makes a lot more sense based on troops in town.

so only info i need is where can i locate their towns?

note, jelmer has the 4th highest offensive points of our world.

Put in Lambda for the World, and then fill in the name field and click search at the bottom. It will find the towns for you.

Crap - I have two different colonies that are going to be attaked over the next hour from two different sources. I moved all my troops/ships to the first one and now a second (without troops / ships etc) is being targeted. Any suggestions? The first is attacking with 54 ships the second with 10. i can probably move enough ships beack to the second to hold of this attack for awhile.

Thanks - I managed to station about 100 ships at my capital - the main target - and whipped that suckers butt - lol. I only lost 3 ships. Not sure why he sent mostly ram and ballista ships. He had sent another armada of 82 ships and 180 units to take on my troops but changed his mind once he knew he was losing.

The other attacker changed his mind as well once he figured out I was deploying fleets to his target or knew I was online.

Anyways, I shoudl probably think about joing an alliance. I've got 5 towns ranging from level 20 to level 15 at the moment. Any suggestions? I'm at 28:35.

We've been offered to join YAG. They are the #2 alliance for the server we're playing on. With that comes a great opportunity to grow as individuals but it also comes at a price. They are preparing for a possible war. We can wait until it is over or we can join them now.

Ilirion seems pretty straight forward and I've had pretty good relationship with him in settling differences in the past.

I believe I can get us all in as a group so we can all still stick together.

What do you guys think?

I broke open the huge inactive today. I've taken out over 100k marble andclose to 80k wood so far today! Any one close should stop by his town and say hi

This might be a dumb question but how do you find inactives?

the town has an (i) next to the town name
