As far as all making colonies on the same island, which would be great since we could all just trade resources quickly there... what resource do we want? I was thinking of grapes since otherwise you'd have to ship them there all the time. I think a suitable island would have 4 or less people on it, and have a temple that boosted grape production, or possibly the defense one. The only problem is that most people probably already have grape colonies and might want something else. So perhaps we should just colonize a cluster of islands close to one another, within 1 island.

I think Marble is the next island I need. We need to figure out something central to us all. Exarkun is 10hours or more away from me.

Exarkun is relatively close to me... the cluster around 29:44 is about 4 hours away for me, 36:40 is 5 hours, 28:50 is 3 hours. They all seem like fairly decent clusters of islands, post how far away they are for you and we will work it from there.

Edit: The more I think about it, the more sense it makes to just make our own little clusters. Having one colony far away is just a hassle, and it would be easier in the long run to do this with our 5th colony, rather than any of the earlier ones.

guys.. because i have nothing better to do, i mapped out our locations on an excel spreed sheet..

take a look, lets see what island we can get.

ok, i highlighted in yellow areas i think may work well for placement of our next citys. in red is where i expect to go. remember at some point we will have that reason to trade with each other.. and may have to defend eachother. im not saying being on top of eachother but rather with in a few hours bubble.

for your chart my Buckeye Corner has Grapes.

I'm looking at 49:57 it has 10 people on it but 4 are big and idle sounds like a farm to me.

Also, 49:58 has grapes, 6 people on it, 3 idle. Looks like a good spot as well for someone needing grapes in the area we're talking about.

OH, I'm getting ready to abandon Buckeye Grove and relocate it to one of the locations we talked about earlier.
