Arrr! A friendly reminder of the forum rules

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

ABSOLUTELY NO:

• Posting of personal attacks against another member, moderator or administrator in the forum

• Posting obscene (nudity or porn) images or links to sites with porn or porn pop-ups

Note, yeah it's all good fun until someone pokes an eye out. This forum's aim is to not be offensive to most everyone (sure, you can't please everybody and censorship by it's nature will offend others). The other thing is, it's not like there are not places on the internet to find porn or nudity. There are many forums that allow and indeed welcome that. This is a car forum. The off topic is fine... I think a lot of us enjoy the community and cool links, etc. But please keep the over-the-top stuff off this forum*. Thanks!

*Yes, a lot of it can be a gray area. We all have to make judgements and the moderators will make the final judgement. If your thread no longer exists or a link is deleted, that is what happened. Please do not push the envelope about this. Thanks again.

Not offended in the least.

Just happen to think the Element is Butt Ugly and making a point.

I kinda like the Element for being a car that is purposeful. For hauling, the boxy shape seems optimum. I also respect that it's not just a styling follower. And with that license plate frame.. it's all good.

Personally, I wouldn't desecrate such a fine plate holder that way.

agreed - it is incredibly functional - in the last week alone with the back seats folded to the sides I have used it to haul everything from a foosball table to a basketball backboard/pole....and with the mess my kids make, it is great to just hose down the floor..is it perfect? no - the doors are a pain in the arse if you want to let someone out from the back seat, and because of the rubberized floor, everything slides around - drives me crazy going around curves...would I go out and buy one? I don't know - i do think the price is reasonable though. Not a car to impress anyone - but that wasn't my point in posting the pic...I have more than enough other pics I could post for that

In a strange way, I sort of like the Element. Sure it's ugly, but it's a charming kind of ugly. It has character. It's not comparable to the Aztec, I'm still in disbelief whenever I see one of those. I never would have thought that somebody could build a vehicle that ugly, even if they tried.

Beat me to it... I'd take an Element over a whole fleet of Azteks... just when I thought I'd seen the worst, I saw one Friday in what I could only describe as Metalic Olive Drab.

This might have been it; it was quite overcast last week and perhaps that accounts for it seeming darker than this (or it could be a bad picture)

I am all about different strokes for different folks when it comes to cars. And what may not appeal to me, I can see may appeal to someone else.

The only exception to that is one car. The Aztek. I have no idea what they were thinking.

Tom Peters designed the Asstek and he's actually not in hiding. His latest creation is the C6 and he helped with the XLR.

I agree.

I suscribe to most major auto magazines. Despite reading those, somehow, I had totally missed word of the Aztec coming. I saw my first Aztec on a billboard around here, and honestly thought it was a joke. It was the ugliest car I remember seeing, and I couldn't believe a car company would actually try to SELL something like that in this day and age.

Ah, may explain why I'm not wild on the C6 styling.

Would agree that the Aztek may take the cake on retinal revulsion. Always looked to me like a prop from Blade Runner rejected as being too damn fugly.

This is not meant as a personal attack, but anyone who would purchase an Element doesn't deserve to drive an Elise.

By far the ugliest car on the road. Although other manufacturers seem intent on emulating the boxy look, this is the worst.

I am deeply offended by the obscene and vulgar appearance of that vehicle.

On the other hand, I am not offended by pictures of naked or scantily clad women, even when they are a tad overweight.

The H2 is far uglier, IMO.
