read most of them. good stuff.

Did you know 87% of statistics are made up on the spot? (think about it...)

RE: Birthdays. I don't believe birthdays are over an even distribution (ie: There are NOT roughly the same June bdays as Sept as July, etc). I believe October has more birthdays than any other month, for example (lots of horny people in February, apparently). If that's true (remember, that's my understanding, haven't confirmed), then shouldn't the odds should go up for people having the same birthday?

Not exactly. In that scenario, A suing B or B suing A would be a cross-claim. Bringing in a third-party defendant to an existing action would be impleader, not interpleader. Interpleader typically arises where a party owes an obligation to two different parties and sues both asking the court to decide who is entitled to performance.

did you know

On later Seinfeld episodes, there is a Skip Barber decal on his fridge.

He wrecked one of their cars and made a deal to show the decal vs. paying for the damage.

Yes, I remember the decal... I've got the same one (but not on my fridge).

Are you sure about the deal though? The deductible at Skippy back in those days was $4000 (ask me how I know )... sounds like chump changed for Jerry.

I Got a Fast Car - TIME

Unfortunately, Andrew couldn't help me with that part, but he did tell me Jerry Seinfeld, who took the course a couple of times, totaled two Formula Four cars. Feeling sorry, Seinfeld slapped a Skip Barber magnet on his TV show's refrigerator

andy, do ever believe anything I say???? (rhetorical, answer doesn't belong here)

How, tho, did you crash? well...I did spin once, blackflagged twice. pm me if you like.

Hey, I'm just wondering... if you say it happened... no worries.

On the practice day before my very first Skippy race at Lime Rock Park, they gave me a car that had brand new, unbedded brakes. I did a few laps at 8/10ths, watching everyone blow past me... then I tried braking at 10/10ths for West Bend and couldn't slow down enough to make the corner... just went about 5 feet off on the exit... unfortunately tire wall was also 5 feet off the exit.

Ouch. LRP is a lovely, dangerous race track. Not my 1st choice for a school, altho that's where I spent yrs at first.

Bertil Roos was later, @ Pocono North Course. Blackflagged for passing w/o flagman OKing it; guy wasn't watching @ time. spun in rain on turn leading to banked straight. learned to lift visor while breathing heavily in rain.

Blackflagged again for hugging (2") wall down straight. It gave me a bit more downhill run, i.e. a good thing.

Was told turns before straight were taken flat out by the paid racers...so did that. Was told only some of those hit rev limiter by end of strt. did that 2nd day. found (only) myself being secretly clocked by instructors..hmm..

Classmates complained my #10 was too fast!! Even tho other guy using it was average. Thought they'd kill me when I casually stated that "Nascar is the automotive equivalent of Pro Wrestling" surprisingly, no fan club started for me.

Did you get to the race series @ skip? How'd you do?

If your car has overheated and the top rad hose is hot, but the bottom cold: you have a stuck thermostat

opposite is true w/cars that circulate the other way

On cars with points in ign:

If you test the ign system by removing a spk plug wire to ck for spark, and the car starts, you have a bad condenser.
