We have a handgun and some rifles. The handgun we got after someone broke into our house while I was home. Boy was that fun.....

I know how to shoot the handgun but I've never shot a rifle. I don't think my husband has either. I don't even know why we have them. I think his dad gave them to us.

I don't own one and don't personally know anyone that has one except for this guy that was in one of my classes during college who I dropped off at home. He wanted to show me his gun collection. He had shell casings on his kitchen counter and guns hidden under pillows and seat cushions including an old wwii luger. The guy freaked me out a bit. We don't need guns up here. We have the Mounties to look after us!

The reason you need guns is to protect you from the Mounties...just ask Rodney King.

Police are definitely not all bad people...just the ones that give me tickets.

/mini police rant. The man is keeping me down!

I get so tired of hearing that crap. Recently here in town some cocaine addict was high on crack or something and ended up getting tasered by police and died...now the community he's from is saying it's racial. I don't care what color you are, if you're so high on crack you cannot respond to commands and continue charging officers while tasered....you get what you deserve. Why don't people own up to their actions.

I don't own any firearms, and personally don't belive in the need to own firearms. That being said, I can still shoot tight groups at 100 meters from the iron sights of my friend's AR in a standing position, enjoy shooting his kimber 1911 at paper, and have tons of fun shooting over-unders at clays. I've never been hunting, but if I did, I'd have to eat whatever I took down.

I enjoy shooting. I think I got that from my grandparents. They bought me a BB gun when I was a kid and when I visited we'd shoot soda cans in the backyard.

I'm not interested at all in hunting.

I didn't care about having a firearm in the house until I woke up one afternoon to a 6 foot tall man at the end of my hallway with a knife in his belt. I changed my tune after that.

You don't need a gun - just call the police

I don't think my pellet rifle, BB rifle and BB pistol count as 'firearms'...so I'll answer 'no'.
