Also the right to carry concealed is fantastic in this state. The citizen is and will always be the ultimate authority. Although I probably wont be shooting much since my Elise arrived yesterday!!!!!, Pics soon to come, look forward to meeting you all. |

If you guys could pick any bushmaster... which one would it be. As of right now my order is in for a ORC Carbine with a red dot sight. I'm pumped, it's going to be fun. In CT we are not allowed to have a few things like adjustable stock... but we can stilll have a 30 round mag. sweeeeeeeeet.

Oh yeah this is the wild west. There is pretty much no paper trail for any firearm after the receipt for the initial purchase ![]() I don't get why they think a collapsible stock makes the weapon more dangerous. My AR has all of the fun stuff on it that makes it illegal in almost every state except Arizona and Texas Be careful with the 30 round mags... they start to get REALLY expensive with the cost of ammo right now ![]()

Most people like to argue that only the criminals will have guns, but the crime rate, murder rate, and incarceration %ages are higher in the US than just about any other first world country. Something doesn't add up for gun ownership aiding "to the pursuit of happiness ". I think you will be in the minority, but I'm with you... |

![]() Map of world with countries' murder rates floodfilled. Number of murders per year, per 100,000 inhabitants. One of the other reasons we are higher than other countries is because our law enforcement is much more vigilant in the USA. Most other countries law enforcement is a joke in comparison... The liberals also tend to skew numbers in their favor and like to show total crimes reported vs crimes per population or crimes with convictions...

I'm a former Federal LEO and send about 3000 rounds downrange in competitions that run the gamut in weaponry. None of my LEO cohorts would trust their lives or their families lives to a 911 phone call alone. The body bag patrol solves less than 50% of homicide cases. That being said, the occassional police chief will still get on tv and state that only the police should have guns. Of course I submit that when government wants you to disarm, that's a good reason to be armed, hence the historical constitutional amendment and guarantee. While enjoying the freedoms of the Constitution some find the document to be a real annoyance to their projecting idealistic expectations. I respect their rights and therefore insist that they respect mine.

I disagree, he should not have taken that shot, to close to the bystanders (kid) and he was not a good shot. A proper trained and proficient shooter would have been okay but this guy - no.
From that range he should have been able to drop the bad guy with one round instantly, he fired three and the guy is still running ![]() I am all for CCW but it is way to easy to get a permit. In this case he could have murdered a child instead of stoping a robber. The requirements to get your CCW is to lame and the range shooting way to easy. |

Only if you think speed is what makes it good. He did not drop the target and that is the purpose. Anyone can rapid fire apperently not everyone can hit the target.
The guy left througth the door on his own feet - he failed to drop him but he succeeded in scaring him of. |
