Well, a dog of friend of mine ate $25 and she wanted it back so she inspected the poop in the backyard and found it. Of course she recorded her findings:

You can send that to the US Treasury and get it replaced... as long as 50% or more is remaining.

My friend's dog ate her mail/bills. When we returned to her house, there was a roll of paper sticking out under the dogs tail. She was able to pull it out and send it in. I couldn't believe it.

My doberman ate one of dress shoes once. Confirmed by finding chunks in his poop. My friend said I should stitch them back together!
