you can modify it to go win even faster... if you make sure the pink wheels on top touch the yellow ones on bottom you get more power to plow through those dastardly balls

Yeah the scissor lift is obviously not the easy way to solve that one. I'm into just different contraptions now for fun.

For the four-balls I made a big draw-bridge that would raise up on the left side so they would roll over to the right, but I couldn't think of a way to time delay the raising of the bridge so the four balls could get on it first.

Once you start with any kind of long arms, you begin to realize the engine wheels have very little strength. So you start ganging them up in a big engine, but the links are so elastic the whole mess starts distorting too much.
