Farrah Fawcett has died

I am new to this forum and have been a lurker for quite sometime and hope to become an owner later this year.

Farrah was a longtime very dear friend of mine. She will be greatly missed...we have lost a true icon

God's speed Farrah...

RIP. A classy, beautiful lady. Just watched a clip of her from 'I Dream of Jeannie'. What a doll. Watch 'A World without Cancer'. There will be a day coming where people don't have to battle this horrific disease.

RIP Farrah.

Regarding cancer, we will be battling cancer for a long time to come if not forever. The more I work in cancer research, the more I realize how cancer needs to be thought of like a bacterial or viral infection. There are many different types, their is no one treatment for all types and they develop resistance to treatment. We have and will make great strides, but as with bacterial and viral infections the battle will keep going on.

I saw that she just got married? That must have been both sweet and bitter for them.

Tell that to Jason Vale. Cancer was beat long ago for those that can think for themselves. I will never have to worry about being the 1 in 4 that get cancer. Very thankful I don't trust doctors, Pharms, FDA, that would rather make their profits vs helping those in dire need. Like I said, watch "World without Cancer."

RIP Farrah you will never be forgotten!! CNN is running a special on her right now. What a doll.

She was a courageous person and well accomplished in life. I am sure her story will inspire others. I will always remember her with fondness because her rise to stardom accompanied my teen years. I was thinking about her late last night and was reminded that she was married to Lee Majors. That got me to thinking about the Bionic Man and how much I enjoyed that show in addition to Charlie's Angels. I am sure I would laugh the whole way through an episode of the Bionic Man now if I get my hands on one. Especially one of those episodes where he took on bigfoot!

It's sad (ironic? Messed up? ??) that she died the same day as Micheal Jackson. The news is all about him, with almost no mention of Farrah. Even the Washington Post this morning had the headline all about MJ, and only a small photo on the bottom of the page indicating that you should go to the obituary section for a report about Farrah.

Actually kind of nice really. I am heading to the services in LA early next week and with all this coverage of MJ hopefully the paparazzi will finally leave Farrah in peace.

Farrah's death is sad as it was expected while Michael's is shocking

Very sad. Very attractive woman and one of my first crushes as a kid. She was way too young to have passed. Rest in peace.

I thouht that I had read that Farrah and Ryan had gotten married a week or so ago. My wife said she had thought they were about to get married, but it hadn't happened yet. Anyone know?

It's sad that her son couldn't be with her when she passed due to being in jail (for a probation violation I believe). Hopefully they'll let him out long enough to attend her funeral services.
