"Griot's Garage" and Starshield?
I have just started looking at "Griot's Garage" products.
For those of you, who use their stuff, please would you confirm that there are no known issues as far as "Griot's Garage" and Starshield. I apologize in advance if this is a silly question. |

Nothing wrong with your question, the Elise is an expensive car.
As others have said, Griot's sells nice stuff (if a bit expensive). I didn't have any problems with Griot's products on the Starshield. As long as whatever you're using is mild, you shouldn't have any issues.

The few products I've tried from them have been very good. I've used about every brand of wax out there, and gave garbage bags full of products away once I used Zaino and have been loyal to them ever since.
Can't speak for Griots product on Starshield, but I've used the Zaino line on my clear bra without ever any problems. Actually with the clear seal bugs just wipe right off without scrubbing. You can't go wrong with plastic polishes for clear bra and Adams makes one called Clear Polish made for them that is very good. Stick away from any products containing silicone on paint protection film (including the fling off from that nasty tire goop grease $#!) as they will yellow it. |

I've been waxing cars since 1974. I always wash and wax my own cars. I've used a lot of different brands, including Griott's. Zainos is by far the best. It lasts a long time and has a brilliant shine and beads well. Everyone thinks my cars look great. Griott's is good but doesn't last more than a couple of washes. Neither do any of the others.
Never say never, but any other wax will have to be damn good for me to use it over Zainos. Rob

Who is it?
Just yesterday got the most recent Griot's catalgue, and in it is a photo of two Exige S240's, with a testimonial from the person who owns both...a chrome orange and a burnt orange, expressing his delight with Griot's products.
The owner is in Texas. Perhaps he's posted here before and I've missed it. Is this lucky guy on here? |
