Not at all, Paul. We're fine.

It's just bizarre to me that we can have have a poor economy, be stuck in a war that never should have been started, have some of the worst relationships with other governments around the world in the last 60 years, all under an idiot president who can't speak, happens to be a republican, and the democrats STILL can't win.

At least my taxes probably won't go up under McCain.

Everybody bitches about how awful our economy is - but I don't see it. Real estate - still hasn't leveled off to what it should be yet (since it was overinflated). Commodities - overinflated thanks to stupid policies (which I can point to many "leftist revolutions" *cough cough* ethenol and false speculatory economics that are artificially driving up oil prices. Is the job market what it used to be a few years ago? No, but is it in shambles? Far from it.

Yes, I'm sure if you are affluant enough that you are right, your taxes probably won't go up - - - but everything else will (cost of living, gas, utilities, essentials) at a disproportional rate.

Well, my company is retail and we see it. People are tightening their belts, the dollar is at an alltime low, prices are skyrocketing on necessities and families are losing their homes. I didn't say we were in a depression, but I'm fairly certain most folks don't feel like we have a strong economy. Feels very much like a small recession (so far).

That's because people have been overspending for years and loading up on debt. It's now all starting to bear down on them and of course they're going to tighten up their wallets a bit. We as Americans sure like to consume things more than any other nation in the world.

I cant believe she actually said this

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton quickly apologized Friday after citing the June 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy as a reason to remain in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination despite increasingly long odds.

Responding to a question from the Sioux Falls Argus Leader editorial board about calls for her to drop out of the race, she said: "My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California."

The Clintons do not know what it means to be defeated. She will not give up until the mathematical probability of her being elected president is equal to zero. That won't happen for certain until Nov. 5, 2008. Or, if Al Gore is a precedent (but clearly not president), even later...

She can stay in it for as long as she wants.

She had a long, good campaign and she's good person who cares about all Americans.

It's Obama's turn now to win this election.
