So which is it? Should Hillary drop out, or stay in? You seem to be undecided...

Do whatever she likes.

She's earned it.

The Convention is where they decide these things.

It should be interesting...

Have a good holiday weekend apk919!

Was reading through a CNN article earlier this afternoon:

Quote:
The third scenario they envision would be trying to get both the candidates to sit down face-to-face and work out an agreement suitable to both parties. Some Clinton insiders say some points to consider would be how to help pay off the Clinton campaign debt -- roughly $30 million -- or whether he would offer support for a possible Clinton effort to become Senate majority leader.
Why should Obama ever think to pay off a penny of Hillary's debt? She's the one who drug on the nomination process and continue to not pay many vendors along the way. The Clintons should find a way to finance their own debt that they incurred by themselves...

It's Obama's turn now to win this election.
I'm not so sure any longer. If she really cared about Americans she would do everything possible to make sure the Republicans did not win the white house. By staying in a unwinnable race for so long she's place her ego in front of the good of the party. I hate to say it, but I now feel I was wrong about her and am glad I will have the opportunity to vote for Obama

I'm sure glad that I don't work for an insurance company that has policies covering property in Denver. Looks like it may be a repeat of 1968, or as Yogi Berra would say "This is like deja vu all over again."

Hilary thinks the nomination is owed to her. The only one she cares about is the one she sees when she looks in the mirror.

You're making progress. You feel you were wrong about her. One down, one more to go (Obama). Hang in there you're close to being cured!

The definition of insanity is to do something the same way over and over again expecting a different outcome . why does my head hurt?

Eight years is enough don't you think?

Yes, this is a trick question.

The quote you use is one that may (or may not) have been used by Ben Franklin or Albert Einstein, however, it isn't the definition of insanity.

Insanity, or madness, is a general term for a semi-permanent, severe mental disorder. The concept has been used in a number of ways historically. Today it is most commonly encountered as a generic informal term, or in the more narrow legal context of criminal insanity.

Yes eight years of Clinton was more than enough. We don't need him anywhere near the White House, even as the first husband.

Did someone change the constitution while I was away? GW Bush can't serve a third term and he isn't running.

Divided government is good government.

The White House and the Legislature controlled by one party would be, and for the most part has been, a disaster. Doesn't make any difference which party.

The only real plank in the Dem party platform is "Anti Bush." That's it. The sum total of what they have to offer.

Election rhetoric notwithstanding, they won't get us out of Iraq anytime soon. They cannot.

They have no functional ideas about energy, the economy, social issues.

Remember, they've had both houses for the last year and a half, and they haven't delivered on a single substantive promise made as they swept control of the legislature.

Talk about insanity....so what makes you think they will actually change their spots once they fully control the goverment?

Frying pan, or fire?

That is so true...every other word out of Obama's mouth lately is to try to convince voters McCain is a clone of Bush.....not.....

+1e+100

And hopefully the majority party in the legislature can't override a veto without bipartisan support. This condition usually prevents partisan policies from making a hash of our country's laws (although the latest farm bill seems to prove that pork has bipartisan support).

It's still pretty civil. I've seen worse threads. As long as everyone keeps cool it should be fine.

Hope you guys know I was only kidding and that I wasn't directing it at any specific person. The insanity quote was just political poking.

BTW the Clinton comment is now a non issue. Time to let that argument go.

I'm still new here but I do believe I (now) know who you are referring to.
My little blurb was referring to who 'wields the axe' to shut things down.
