Was reading through a CNN article earlier this afternoon:

The third scenario they envision would be trying to get both the candidates to sit down face-to-face and work out an agreement suitable to both parties. Some Clinton insiders say some points to consider would be how to help pay off the Clinton campaign debt -- roughly $30 million -- or whether he would offer support for a possible Clinton effort to become Senate majority leader.

Why should Obama ever think to pay off a penny of Hillary's debt? She's the one who drug on the nomination process and continue to not pay many vendors along the way. The Clintons should find a way to finance their own debt that they incurred by themselves...

She had a long, good campaign and she's good person who cares about all Americans.

I'm not so sure any longer. If she really cared about Americans she would do everything possible to make sure the Republicans did not win the white house. By staying in a unwinnable race for so long she's place her ego in front of the good of the party. I hate to say it, but I now feel I was wrong about her and am glad I will have the opportunity to vote for Obama

Divided government is good government.

The White House and the Legislature controlled by one party would be, and for the most part has been, a disaster. Doesn't make any difference which party.

The only real plank in the Dem party platform is "Anti Bush." That's it. The sum total of what they have to offer.

Election rhetoric notwithstanding, they won't get us out of Iraq anytime soon. They cannot.

They have no functional ideas about energy, the economy, social issues.

Remember, they've had both houses for the last year and a half, and they haven't delivered on a single substantive promise made as they swept control of the legislature.

Talk about insanity....so what makes you think they will actually change their spots once they fully control the goverment?

And hopefully the majority party in the legislature can't override a veto without bipartisan support. This condition usually prevents partisan policies from making a hash of our country's laws (although the latest farm bill seems to prove that pork has bipartisan support).
