Yeah, they are trying to get in.

If you and I know it, the President and National Security know it.

I don't think the next President, whoever it is, will drop our guard.

If we do let's cut the politics. I do this to kill time. There is no reason to discuss this BS. Bring your Lotus. I'll drive my Porsche Cayman S . . . I don't have a Lotus right now. We can talk cars. I can't wait until next year. I'm going to get an Elise SC (I'll still keep my Cayman S and my Mercedes DD).

"Charlie Wilson's War". A good movie and a true story!

OK. When?

I'd love a ride in the Cayman. Have you driven an Elise? You can try mine.

Is Smiles2 a "stip club"? Or, is everyone simply very happy?

No, I agree, no politics. I have friends who are extremely right-wing, even a rw religious fanatic...we don't discuss this stuff....no point risking a friendship.

EZ,
I agree with you on most issues.
I do want to point out however the difficulty of fighting against guerrillas/terrorists.
the way a standing army wins is through victory.
the way a guerrilla army/terrorist force wins is by simply not losing.
there is a big difference. as the latter can simply out wait the former and restart its activities.

your reference, which i feel is correct, only applies when 2 standing armies are engaged in warfare.
this is not the case in Iraq.

no good answer to this one, but we cannot use the "normal" version of victory to apply here.
sadly, most wont/cannot see this.

"Over the last 15 years, Trinity has received at least $15 million in grants from the federal government — in other words, taxpayer money.

Records show this money supported a variety of outreach: everything from low income housing to nutritional programs for needy kids to money for HIV/AIDS education. Wright blames the government for intentionally infecting the African-American community with that deadly virus.

DePaul University journalism professor Laura Washington, who specializes in race and politics, said Wright is a hypocrite for taking money from the government."

Well I guess it is the least we could do after infecting them with HIV GD that goverrnment that gives us 15 million dollars......

Hypocrites......

Great. Well when Rev. Wright runs for President, I'll be sure not to vote for him.

I agree we can never totally defeat a terrorist force in the traditional sense but we can attrit them until they are not a great threat. We will always have to live with small groups of terrorists that can still do damage and take lives but I feel we can stop them from being a world wide network.
