Another cheap way to go

I'm using an Oregon Scientific ATC5K and the rubber strap that came with it. Of course there's some vibration but it's steady enough for me. The footage doesn't give me a headache but the wind noise is annoying, the mic is pretty sensitive. Maybe a piece of foam over the mic will work.

Back in 2004 I tried attaching a camera to the passenger seat in the Elise. For me I decided the seat was too shaky.

CNC mill. I don't have a WJ in house and I made this for fun... Water would be fine for a production version of this since it's not a tight fit... on the otherhand you need a good wj to keep the kerf to a minimum since the alum is 1/2" thick...

Hi Phil, don't know if you have tried these end mills, streaker TICN coated from Imco. They cut through aluminum like butter. I can run them at speeds almost as close to that when cutting wood or plastic. They are designed for aluminum or plastic...a bit expensive but worth it. Here is the link.

The seat vibrates too much. It's not a good place to mount a camera.
