My prayers go out to those tremendously affected by Sandy. I've never experienced anything like this in the 35 years of my life. Watching the damaging winds and ocean surge out my window was something to be seen. The "after" picture for me was my car submerged from the ocean surge, an uprooted tree in front of my house that the staircase stopped from hitting the house (but not my other car in the driveway), and a whole lot of mess all over.
