used to think that too, but not with this one, actually the reception has gotten better since install. My usual dead spots that existed, pre Element case and with every iPhone I've had, are now no problem....

I still have yet to understand the point of screen protectors. I have yet to use one on any of the Iphones and have never had a surface scratch on the glass and I abuse the **** out of my phone. Sometimes its in my pocket with my keys, it gets thrown around in my tool box with my tools, etc etc. Its pretty damn difficult to scratch the glass, yet people buy the crap out of the screen protectors.

On some sales of phones the accessories are a bigger source of revenue than anything else.

You're either really lucky or oblivious to how scratched your screen really is.

It's not plastic. It's a pretty advanced multi-layer material, not a cheap sheet of 3M polyurethane or plastic from China. It's the last screen protector one will buy for a specific phone.
