Redneck from Kentucky! Drag racin miatas Yee Haaw.
Several people here have asked me about drag racing videos of my miata. Im what is known as computer inept so I finally got some videos back from a friend..
These vids were taken at our local track one night when I was coerced into running against a guy with a stroked V8 drag car. I was running 12psi ( low boost) and was a little hesitant...I still schooled him though! I dont know what it was, I know it had a crate stroker motor and was cammed', the guy didnt have too much to say after I beat him so I couldnt get details.

Is this a 1/8 mile track? The times would be awfully fast for a 1/4 mile, and the trap speeds don't seem to match.
That WRX guy must have been asleep on the start line, he should be able to at least keep up on the launch. Not that it would last very long, that Miata looks mighty quick!

Yes, its an 8th mile. @12psi which is a slow day for me. Fastest trap time that night for me was 88-93mph. I typically go 99-103mph in the 8th.
The car is a quartermile car for sure, the 8th mile doesnt afford a real chance for her to start breathing. The car goes 10's in the Quarter. 2nd quickest miata in the country, and fastest mph in US. The wrx has cobb tuning too. He cut an excellent light and 60. Its just hard to beat a 400hp car that weighs half as much.

I had heard very few people actually say Ya'll until I went to PA and NC. I was floored.
