Wasn't trying to imply if you like Obama you are not American.

Disagreeing with the other side is very American. Blanketing over half the country as racist...Unamerican.

Having different points of view and expressing them publicly...very American and healthy.

Sorry if I wasn't more clear.

Let me try and clarify, I wasn't referring to just your comments in this thread

I think the logical conclusion is that if Obama didn't have so many radical left wing policies, a new thread complaining about them wouldn't keep popping up.

Or, it could just be that we are all racists!

Nice spin

So apparently it was OK when Bush was doing the spending then?

BTW - MOPHO - You never really answered or addressed the point I was trying to make.

For those of us who are a little more conservative than you, we seem to notice this as a tactic from the left in avoiding the issue.

Instead of addressing the issue they attack and attempt to divide.

I'm just saying

Why don't you actually try reading my prior posts. You look like a boob when you repeatedly ask the exact same question when I already specifically addressed it.

Did you complain when Bush was spending like he did? If not, why not? If so, are you not furious with Obama, since he has spent at a far greater pace than Bush?

Since you apparently missed it, I will post this for your convenience again:

Here's the problem. There's no two ways about it. This isn't europe where the systems have been in place since World War II and it is what it is. No one on either side is saying that in 4 years there would be enough new doctors to handle 47,000 new people. No one on either side is denying Doctors will make less. No one on either side is denying only people making over $250,000 will bear the brunt of the cost. Best case senario everybody gets healthcare and maybe has to wait a bit, but it works like Europe. Worse case; it completely and irreversably destroys the very fabric of this country. You don't know, we don't know, it is uncharted waters. But is it truly worth the risk. I think none of us are completely happy with that fabric, but fixing some holes appeals a little more then destroying the whole thing.

Forget every 2 days, I'll give you everyday we are whining, we're Chitting our pants, we are the ones that understand busniness from the business side. We are the ones who understand Doctoring from the Doctor side, whining, whining, you don't even have a clue what holds this all together.

blah, blah, blah

I have no opinion on the issue because I don't know if it is true (racism) one way or the other, and neither do you. It is also irrelevant to my point that you are a hypocrite

You didn't address it, you tried to spin it to put the blame on your opposition This isn't about me, I wasn't complaining about Bush's spending, nor am I suggesting that Obama's spending is right or wrong.

You claim conservatives were "universally opposed" to Bush's spending, well again, where were all the conservative threads complaining about it? I mean, yeah, I saw a few people post in some threads that they were not happy about it and then complain more about Obama (most defended Bush) but I didn't see any conservatives starting threads in anger about Bush's spending. I didn't see any conservatives marching on Washington either. Where were the teabaggers?

You say you don't understand the allegation, but it seems clear as day to me that there is a double standard (not saying it's racism or not)

And you'd be making an ignorant assumption which is typical of people who have been victimized by race hustling. Ask the person how he feels about Clarence Thomas or Michael Steele and see if you're veiled racism theory holds up.

Not liking a person's policies - I have zero issues with that. We need "Devil's advocates" to ensure a healthy debate of the issues in our country.

Not liking a person because they represent those policies - fine.

Not liking a person because of genetics/ethnicity - Not fine.

It's hard to be sure what a person's motivation is without knowing the person. To blindly call it racism because Obama is black is way too broad of a generalization, I agree. But also to deny that there is an undercurrent of racism is also being blindly ignorant. I don't believe that it is everyone protesting, just a small minority, and that small minority tarnishes the rest of the protesters.

sounds like your firm is pretty racist, todd! lol

if you are referring to my post, im not going to debate symantics here, but my point stands. that is, a president will always have detractors and calling detractors racist is a cop out to me. most of this stuff comes with the territory, thats why public figures need to have a thick skin.

Agreed. I think Obama has skin as thick as anyone in his position. It's his supporters who use the race issue to stifle legitimate debate. Obama is smart enough to know that in the long run, that BS will turn off the people in the middle of the road, and he/his policies will suffer as a result. The people whose only argument is "You're just a racist!" aren't helping their own cause.

How can you make this statement:

And then make this statement:

Is it possible that you find it easier to call someone a racist then to give credit to a legimate argument?

What makes you believe there is a small minority? Can you find an instance of a racial slogan on a sign from one of the protests?

The racism card is a purposed distraction made by weak minded cowards and the fools who listen to them.

What if every white person who disagreed with Obama was actually a racist? That issue takes nothing away from the argument opposed to socialism. I guess we ought to tear up our interstate system because Adolf Hitler had a penchant for murdering Jews/Russians/Poles/Gypsies/Gays/Jehovah's Witnesses/ etc.
