New Car magazine - 0-60

New Magazine came out called 0-60 it's in book stores now. It looks really good and is trying to be a bit more like an American version of the British mags in stye, great photography, paper stock and print quality. I think it is quarterly for now.

don't the publishers know that 0-60 is a meaningless performance measure?

I really like the logo. And, yes, if the publishers are going for the Brit-car mag look, the art team has fulfilled their remit. Nicely done. Too bad we can print large format in the US. I'll look for it at newsstands.

Edit: Wow, so Harris is launching a car magazine. Bold move in a brutal market (my company recently bought Revolver from Harris... not the first magazine we've bought from them). But I have to say that SLAM was a category creating magazine, so I give props to Mr Stanley's sense of adventure. ;-)

Don't know the back story behind the publishing, a friend of mine is doing some writing for it and has been trying to get me to shoot for them. I am excited to do it as there will be less artistic constraints than with C/D.
I know Harris publishes Rides magazine so this is not their first "car" magazine

They've had a great website for a while now. One of the best, I'd say.

Bought the magazine. Most American Car Mags suck because they have no substance, just numbers which become boring.

This one has great stories. Worth the read.
