The "Official" NFL thread

I'm surprised no one else has started this... (now that we're 4 weeks into the season) but I figured that we can discuss all things football here.

My first thoughts...

There's NO team right now that looks like a lock for the Superbowl. To me, it looks wide open with the Giants as the default team to repeat. The NFC definitely looks dominant, but an upstart AFC team like the Titans, Bills or Chargers could surprise everyone come January.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

The NFL currently lacks the drama for me to be interested. The only player that I identify in a lineup is Brett Favre.

Yes, I watch sports like a girl. I'd rather be a participant than a spectator.

For the NFC I'm saying Cowboys or Eagles.

Giants are not talented enough to win it. Awesome defense, but their offense is inconsistent.

AFC: Chargers or Colts (if they win today)

Yeah, I know Tennessee and Buffalo are undefeated, but let's be realistic. Kerry Collins, the BACKUP, is not going deep in the playoffs. I'm not sold on the Bills.

Four games into the year it is still impossible to pick a winner. Look at last year, the Giants were 2-2, even heading into the play offs few would have picked them.

With that stated, I would not rule out the Patriots. There is no single team in football that is more of a team. Brady might have been the face, but the depth of the team is what made them winners. (btw. I am not a Patriots fan)

I am curious, there are many SoCal owners on this forum, any of you still Rams fans? I only ask as we still have season tickets in St. Louis (and boy is that painful).

It is still wayyyy too early to say who will be playing in february.

I just want to see Devin Hester run.....there has be least one kicker with balls to kick it to Hester!!!

Skins offense is not consistent enough. I was at the season opener. Was not pretty...

Yes, the Skins have no team at all. Most likely Philly or Dallas.

How many yards did Washington pickup the last two weeks any how?

After watching the Eagles lose and the Giants win, I think I'm going to flop them. Philly's one of my favorite teams but they keep losing close ones just like last year

Has the balance of power shifted to the NFC with Brady's absence and Indy's poor play?

well considering Indy still won i dont think the balance has shifted to any other team. I think Indy still could be the team to beat...

The entire NFC East is better than the rest of the league - this is going to be an interesting yet. Go Skins!
