LT is killing my fantasy team. I'm 1-4 now, my worst start ever. grrrr.

And my Broncos are paper lions. They are lucky to be 4-1. It won't last, and that makes me sad.

They have also had one of the toughest first 5 week schedules in the league!! I would say that the Redskins are the BEST team in the NFC right now!!

Sorry IsellLotus, I've been a Skins fan for a long time now (from 1968). I was just poking the fire a bit. That's why the question about yard production was asked so quietly. Wonder about the D with three starters returning soon.
Go Skins

Ok, so now that I'm on top of the leader board; I have to make sure I stay there by maximizing my roster.

Here's my starters for week 6 but I'm having trouble convincing myself to start Roy Williams or the Eagles defense so to any of you Fantasy Football guru's out there, any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Starters
QB-Tony Romo (DAL) @ ARI
WR-Plaxico Burress (NYG) @ CLE
WR-Roy Williams (DET) @ MIN
RB-Clinton Portis (WAS) vs. STL
RB-Brandon Jacobs (NYG) @ CLE
TE-Greg Olsen (CHI) @ ATL
W/R-Felix Jones (DAL) @ ARI
K-Jason Elam (ATL) vs. CHI
DEF-Philadelphia @ SF

Bench
QB-Eli Manning (NYG) @ CLE
WR-Lance Moore (NO) vs. OAK
WR-Robert Meachem (NO) vs. OAK
WR-Brandon Lloyd (CHI) @ ATL
WR-Patrick Crayton (DAL) @ ARI
RB-Derrick Ward (NYG) @ CLE
TE-Visanthe Shiancoe (MIN) vs. DET
K-Rob Bironas (TEN) BYE
DEF-Tampa Bay vs. CAR

Tom

I didn't think Gus was all that good. Usually when you see a strong QB like Drew Brees, Manning, or Brady cock back to throw a pass, you know they have an open receiver and a good target; there's a GOOD chance the ball will be complete.

Half of Frerotte's throws that he seemed confident in and was not rushed in seemed to go to double coverage or to the middle of nowhere. You just couldn't have confidence that he knew what he was doing or that the ball had a chance of completion.

I agree with your assessment of his throws into coverage. The final TD pass was so bad it was good. Nobody plans two intersecting crossing routes in the end zone-but it sure is a good way to confuse the defenders. The fact that Berrian caught it was a miracle. But survivng the hits he took is why I called him "indestructible." He got his bell rung and came back two plays later to lead the winning drive. I think that's why he hangs around the NFL.

Wow! I can't believe I benched the Bucs defense against the Panthers for the Eagles defense against the 49'ers...Bucs already have 32 fantasy points

Are the Vikings that bad? (2) measley pts. from their defense and (0) on offense Just proves that without a QB and a passing game, all the defense has to do is stack the box and stop the only threat the Vikes have; AP 15 carries, 64 rushing yards, (1) fumble and 0 td's....damn I love this sport

BM, I think they need to seek the draft for a better QB, Tarvaris is not the answer in my opinion but they also need WR's. I can only name 1 at the top of head...who else do they have?

Meanwhile, there's some pretty good games out there:

Tarvaris may not be the answer, but Gus Frerotte is DEFINITELY not the answer. I think with Tarvaris you have a chance of reaching the playoffs. His speed alone can change their offense and hopefully he can develop into a decent quarterback.

They've won the last 2 weeks so let's see how long they can keep this up... I think they're going to get smashed when they play a REAL team.
