Umm...how about the NFC south? All teams 4-2 records... And we thought the NFC east was going to be the best.

I will say that the Panthers are probably the worst team in that bunch and I expect them to decline as the season goes on.

They've won the last 2 weeks so let's see how long they can keep this up... I think they're going to get smashed when they play a REAL team.
Yes I agree however, remember that Tarvaris was benched for his inability to move the ball and if you're the coach and your job is on the line...well, just look at his stats:

Tarvaris Jackson 0-2
@Green Bay (L-19-24) 16/35 178 yds. 1-TD and 1-INT. AP's numbers 19/103 1-TD
vs.Indianapolis (L-15-18) 14/24 130 yds. 0-TD and 0-INT. AP's numbers 29/160 0-TD Just a little bit of a passing game and they win which they should have regardless.

Gus Frerotte 3-1
vs.Carolina (W-20-10) 16/28 204 yds. 1-TD and 1-INT. AP's numbers 17/77 0-TD
@Tennessee (L-17-30) 25/43 266 yds. 0-TD and 1-INT. AP's numbers 18/80 2-TD's
@New Orleans (W-30-27) 19/36 222 yds. 1-TD and 0-INT. AP's numbers 21/32 0-TD...atrocious
vs. Detroit (W-12-10) 18/33 296 yds. 1-TD and 1-INT. AP's numbers 25/111 0-TD

So looking at the numbers, none of these guys are the answer however, if you're looking to get to the playoffs, Gus gives you your best shot as experience will play a role but really, they need to draft a good QB.

Another amazing game!

In a game where Dallas should have had a cake walk, it was anything but that and with 0-time outs left, 4 seconds left, Nick Folk kicks a 52 yds, game-tying field goal. It's overtime and Dallas won the toss....nail biting to say the least...and yet another fumble by Romo; he's killing me!!! and game over

It as as long as Kurt Warner isn't tackled by Quasimodo (and he gets his bell rung one last time).

Yes, Arizona does make the play offs. Just look at their division; they are the strongest one there and it's a toss up between San Fran and Seattle however, I give a slight edge to Seattle...parity at its BEST!!!

Do you guys agree that this season is already building up to be a very exciting one? So far, 5 games were decided in the last seconds.

Now THAT is the Chargers I know. LT still looks like he's not at 100%, but with Rivers getting back on track with that passing game, the Chargers could finally be rolling again.

Agreed. I have them still winning the division however, LT's "turf toe" and the absence of Shawne Merriman, I do not have them going passed round 1...too much stout competition to be without your key guys but boy how good it feels to take advatange of the Patriots

What was up with the Patriots basically giving up with 7 minutes to go? They took it down the field for a TD, and the Chargers just let them. They may as well have walked down the field.

Then they don't go for an onside kick and get it back with 2 minutes left. Then they call a timeout with 3 seconds left for no apparent reason.

The game is probably out of reach, but why not try to make it interesting? That's not championship football. That's loser football.

Tell me about it, I'm down 6.60 pts in my league however; I still have Brandon Jacobs and Plaxico Burress to go so unless both have season ending injuries on the first series, it looks like I'll still be the leader and go 5-1 for the season

Do you guys think a fantasy football league here on LT would be a good idea or is it too late? I posed this question a couple of years ago and there was some interest but forgot why it never happened Any ways, I think it'd be fun one to have one with LT members.

To make matters worse, Romo out 4 weeks with broken right-pinky finger with McBride and Felix Jones banged up. Now we have to rely on Brad Johnson for 3 games The 4th week is a bye week so they have to get through StL, TB & NYG so if they can go 2-1, they'll be fine since everyone is coming back from injury after the bye...another exciting Cowboys season.

I would not worry to much about the Rams. Although they have begun to take a bit of a Haslett approach (if you are going to a fight you might as well be ready to fight), they are still pretty weak against the run and I do not think they will have an answer for Barber or Owens.

Offensivly they did nothing of note against the Skins, their D won the game for them as they harassed Cambell and forced the mistakes that led to the turnovers.

On the other hand, if they throw up an egg in St. Louis and get beat, it could be a long road without Romo......

it would be fun to have our own fantasy league, who really wants to do it though?? and i think it is a little too late now.

And now Adam "Pacman" Jones is suspended indefinitely. The guy just got his fourth strike with Goddell. He's finished.
