Packers scored 2 TDs off of those interceptions. That's what won it.

I have to give the Titans credit. They lose Vince Young for whatever reason, bring Kerry Collins in, and are still going strong.

Patriots dominated yesterday

what cost the game for the Broncos was the turnovers....freaking 2 turnovers that led to points in the first 2 drives from the Broncos.

props for Champ Bailey, he stuck with Moss like glue until he got injured....then Moss scored 2 TD's.

Overall a very winnable game for the Broncos they lost because of their own stupid mistakes.

It seems like their defense is the weak link this year, but they do have a decent secondary. Too bad that the d-line is so weak that the secondary has to carry the load, cause you cant rely on that to win. I saw Grant had over 100 yards so they must have had some success on the ground, which always helps.

Running was all they had. Passes were either picked off or knocked down. Hats off to the Packer's secondary. If only they could play like that every week.

It's looking more and more like the Titans might be the team to beat in the AFC.

Although the Patriots man-handled the Broncos, it came at a price and any chance they had to move forward is all but gone:
RB-Maroney done for season
LB-Harrison done for season

NFC looks like the Giants are the team to beat however, I'm not yet sold on them especially losing to the Browns the way the did and next week they face the Steelers so it might be anyone's game.....I don't even want to get started with the Cowboys

Great safety and field presence and I always wished he had stayed with the Chargers.

Without Brady, I don't see NE making it that far anyway this year.

The Broncos aren't as bad as the score looked, but they are not a good team either. If they make the playoffs it is only because San Diego doesn't get their own act together. That Broncos defense, yikes. Reminds me of the horrific one they had in the early 90s. shudder.

Reggie Bush done for the year? He had knee surgery but I dont know much more than that. I was surprised that the Saints got spanked here (Charlotte). I thought they were tougher than that.

It's been a very quiet day in Denver today.

I'm sure next week I'll change again but so far, to me at least, it looks like this:

AFC
North-Steelers with no real competition there
South-Titans unless the Colts gets their act together
East-Bills but don't count out the Jets
West-Broncos but not by much and could easily be Chargers
Wild Card#1-Colts
Wild Card#2-Chargers or Jets?

Disappointments:
Patriots-Injuries to KEY players, nuf said
Colts-Unless their defense improves they might not even make it
Chargers-LT not 100% and my opinion fwiw, the injury to Merriman really hurts them.

NFC
North-Bears but they have yet to play the Packers
South-Bucs Garcia lit a fire and their defense is solid
East-New York until they can prove otherwise
West-Cardinals, yes I said it!
Wild Card#1-Packers
Wild Card#2-Redskins with an outside chance for the Panthers

Disappointments:
Cowboys-Unless they get help on their secondary, they're done
Eagles-Injury has ALWAYS been their problem
Seahawks-Need better WR's
Rams-Might be getting old but still good enough to put a spanking on the Cowboys.

*Notice how now I left the Saints and Cowboys off the playoffs list and until they get some D, it will probably be that way.

I say Ravens for AFC North... Probably won't happen, but I can hope

Miami is also quite a disappointment after a good start... Now they have the same record as the Rams!!!

I think Detroit is a success. I'd be disappointed if they actually started winning LOL

Rams, how could you be disappointed in the Rams. The expectation of this team was low (1-15 if you asked me after game #1), very low and they actually appear to be a football team. Heck they have doubled my expectations for wins.

Under Haslett they actually appear that they could challenge for the NFC West Title and might even be able to go 8-8 or better. They have 5 divisional games left and based on the last two weeks everyone of them is winnable for the Rams, which would put them in a dead heat with the Cardinals.

It was good to see football season finally arrive in St. Louis. (only 4 weeks after it started in the rest of the NFL cities).

Haslett for President!!

It's not a disappointment because they were a 1-15 team last year so anything better than that is good.

What I meant by disappointment was teams that were projected to be much higher than what they currently are and although we're nearly at the half way point, some of these teams are not meeting expectations but we still have half a season to go and ANYTHING can happen but at the very least, this promise to be a very exciting season and I guarantee you that next week's standing will undoubtedly change....
