Took this a while ago... I like it, but I'm not much of a photographer, I just make attempts from time to time. This is the much shrunken version, let me know what you think.

Very nice dfa - nice use of the background to use a non-traditional composition.

Great colour too. The pink ground is a nice balance to the variety of blue. Your shot is good, but I'd avoid having a car pointing out of the frame. Cars have a sense of motion, and you generally want to have them going towards towards middle of the frame, so you see where they're going, not where they've been. Still, I like the shot.

And more of the same. Still working on getting a nice shot of a static car.

If you're wondering why only the Audii, I just find they have really balanced lines, especially the B6 which I consider one of the nicest designs of recent times. None of the proportions pull too much when you're approaching the wider lens capabilities. I'm getting a 10-20 Sigma ultrawide in a few weeks, so shots should only get prettier

That's not necessarily true, having the car pointing out of the frame can make for an interesting composition and seeing where the car has been can be exciting too.

It can go both ways. For instance, your shots all have something compositionally interesting behind them. Yes, the garage doors behind the Elise in dfa's shot add to the photograph, but they could've still been used in the picture with the Lotus in the foreground. To me, it seems awkward with the Lotus so far back in the field. Maybe it's just me.

The shots shown weren't *real* HDR. I used to do it the proper way with a program called HDRmagic, but it was a lengthy and rarely successful technique. From what I learned, all I can say is use a tripod and definitely use a bracket function on your camera to avoid any deviance in your pictures.

What I did was play with levels in Adobe Lightroom (free beta program), especially fill light and black sections, which essentially what HDR is. Tweaking here and there and you should be good. It doesn't work with every picture, and it's easy to get carried away. I like to tune down the saturation because the rest of the photo is usually really dramatic as it is.

I went to Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and the Czech Republic last year and took a couple good shots (in my opinion). ...even though I'm no photographer.

This one is in the backyard of my Great-Uncle's. It's his dog's dog house (obviously). They live in Slovakia in the hills of the Carpathian Mountains. In the middle of practically no where.

I'm going to work up some plans for it in case anyone wants to build one of their own.

Ah, I know that road well. I'm up there all the time kayaking the Monguap Wave. Just wish I could fit my kayak in or on my Elise. Would make the drive more fun atleast.
