What an idiot. I thought SCCA torqued your wheels before you went on track anyways? If not what a rookie move.

Don't know if I saw it here or on another forum, but it was reported by an acquaintance of his that he used the wrong-sized lugs when he mounted a new set of wheels and tires.

No, SCCA Solo tech inspection does not include checking lug nut torque. We'd never get all the cars in our region through tech if we had to do that.

Seventeen years ago when I was doing Solo II (I'll not name the regeon) tech inspection usually consisted of, "Oh you finally got it started! Get in line!"
