Well, shouldn't be too hard to figure out, as there aren't too many type 72s in our area. The only one I know of off hand was owned by a lady on the forums, but she was trying to sell it about a year back. 2007 Lotus Elise 72D 18 of 50 For Sale

Give it a few days and there is a good chance it will show up on RockStore photos. Might even be able to make out a face if you really want to try and figure it out.

There is frequently some form of LE (CHP or Sheriff) sitting up at the top of the Snake for just this reason.

Honestly though, that's a pretty visible turn and I've seen much more dangerous things on the highway with people talking on the phone or rubber neckers trying to take pictures of my car while driving.

Honestly though, that's a pretty visible turn and I've seen much more dangerous things on the highway with people talking on the phone or rubber neckers trying to take pictures of my car while driving.

What?! I hope that's sarcasm. That's a completely blind, decreasing radius on an incline. It's 100% blind. Just as the two dozen or so turns leading up to that turn, that the driver most likely crossed the center line as well.

This video is posted elsewhere, but it shows the same turn, and a few very close calls from people who thinks it's ok to cross that yellow line:

Well, it was not me due to the fact that I do not live there and I always have my hard top on. Also, it is a slow moving 72D, I thought the 72D had an extra 400 hp LOL. Mine is #48 of the 50 72D elise.

There may be more dangerous things being done on the road, but that doesn't make this particular move *not* dangerous. It's actually a very dangerous place to cross the double yellow.

I've driven it (actually I drive it at least once a month every month of the year in both directions). It's a very dangerous place to cross the double yellow. Visibility is very limited from the driver's seat and there are almost always other vehicles occupying the other lane.

For the record, I don't care who it was, but I hope I never have to share that road with that driver.
