smash - I know everyone's a critic, but your commentary is downright disrespectful.
Hardly original though, I had a one man show of my car photos I called "autofocus" about 15 years ago

Good photographers shoot cheap and expensive cars.

What kind of camera are you using?
Haha, I'm so speechless, I've been sitting at my computer for 5 minutes trying to figure out what to say.

Yawn. The photos are not professional. The website link is bad.

I am being truthful. At 16 yrs old, he could be awesome @ 24. Or he could be an assistant, who knows?

I have been working with professional car photographers from Stuttgart for some time now.

Yeah, best not to respond to people who are so grumpy. For 16 you have a good start. Just keep practicing to refine your technique and study different car magazines to see what type of photos are publishable.
Welcome to LT BTW!

Suspence - Like I said, you need some more interesting locations that favor the car. Don't take a white car to the beach on an overcast day - you won't see anything but the flat sky, flat paint and flat concrete. There are a couple good shots on the flickr set, but many of them are stock 3/4 view cardomain shots. Others have the paint tones totally blown out - check where your camera is metering and watch the exposure. White cars are not easy to shoot either. If your doing a shoot for someone, they also won't want orange-washed tungsten overload: bar certain artistic exceptions, it hardly ever works by itself. I've got a little knack for ultra-tilted car shots, they just irritate and nauseate me. You've gotta know why to level which pictures, and not just because it's trendy. For instance, your Carrera shot could've had some interesting movement because of the streetcar rails, but tilt on the portrait frame seems just pointless.

smashfactory,

I understand now what your saying after thinking hard about it.

I'm still young and in High School, I have a lot to learn and I'm so used to showing my work off to my friends that haven't seen VERY professional pictures of cars. My own pictures being pretty good IMO seem to impress all my younger friends who haven't seen much of the automotive stuff that's really good. So it gives me the impression that everyone will be amazed by my work, but when it comes down to competition and real good photos in magazines, I may have some talent for a magazine in the future, but it's just not top notch at the moment. I feel that in the future i'll be bigger and better, but right now I still have a lot to learn to get where I want to be. Being harsh helps too, because it throws the real truth at you and pushes you to try harder and be better for the good. I try my best not to bring myself down about negative comments, but I know that in the next few years I'll pick up many tips and tricks and hopefully become a professional photographer for a magazine or company.

It appears you did not come here for a critique, so I will refrain from commenting on the photos you posted, but I suggest you spend some time on automotivephoto.net and/or dieselstation.com (this one is a car forum that has a good photo section) and post your work for critique, ask advice, and study the photos of others.

Shame you don't live closer to me, I could have had you out as a second assistant or something on some shoots. If you really want to be a photographer, you will learn the most from assisting other photographers

Cool, no harm intended. I've worked with the best. The assistants are often the brains!

oh, well, I thought he was NC based, and I just can't help rant about the stupid tinting law here in NC any chance I get.

You misunderstand, it would be "a shame" to have to change the tint - seriously it rocks. And in NC the tint law sucks.
