Nice ones! Love the Zorro, the Tetris, and the Tank Battle.

Anyone want to try a "Tron" Light Cycle racing design?

Or maybe a big Pac Man.

19' x 21', using 1 foot tiles... all you have to do is find tiles with all of these colors

My thoughts in this design:

Mainly white so when you drop stuff on the floor you can see it.

Simple.

Fun.

Of course it would be cool if they had green tiles because then you could do image 2.

I'm moved in and the cars are in the (bare & boring) garage.
I counted up my RaceDeck tiles tonight:

135 Gray
34 Blue
26 White
24 Black

I've got to order more (since a 21' x 19' garage is bigger than my last 19' x 12' garage), but I want to get the design figured out beforehand.

I'd like to use as many of my existing tiles as possible. Any new ideas (or new creative people who have not yet seen this thread)?

[I also have 6 purple and 5 orange tiles. I don't really see myself using those.]

BTW -- this is the best I've come up with on my own. I guess I'm not very creative.

Finally Got My Tiles Down

Spent the evening of July 3rd installing my additional tiles.

My last garage was a 1 car garage so I already had some Racedeck tiles.

But when I got into the new house, I realized I'd need a lot more tiles.

I kept my final design somewhat conservative. I didn't go with Zorro or Super Mario.

Here are some pictures of the transformation. I have a lot more to do. I need stripes on the walls, art work hung, and I really need to reorganize the supplies & equipment.

I think it looks 100x better than a bare concrete floor.

Nice final design.

I thought it was around $4 per sq ft, am I right? I am looking to get some to my garage as well, was going to do the basic checkered flag thing.

Sorry for any hijack, but is Racedeck the best one to go with?

I paid $2.99 for each 12"x12" tile and $1.99 for the end pieces.

My garage is 21' x 19' -- so roughly 400 tiles.

Ordered directly from SnapLock Industries in Salt Lake City.

Thanks. I wanted to be more clever and artistic, but after thinking about it for several months I decided to keep it somewhat basic.

Any picture would not be visible when there is stuff and cars parked in there. I also worried that I'd get sick of a "cute" design. Finally, I wanted to incorporate the tiles I already owned from my last place (mostly gray, blue and black). So this is something I think I can live with for a long time. It's also not marque specific ... so if I sell the cars, I don't have to change anything.

I like the Racedeck tiles. They've proven very durable. They clean up very easily. They do make a little noise when you walk on them, but it's not bothersome to me at all. A good trade off when you don't have to look at a concrete floor.

Gotta save up for a lift before winter. I want the MINI inside under the Lotus before the snow falls. I've already got the left garage bay door raised up. I'll also need to stripe the wall and hang some art.

Racedeck (Snaplock) is the market leader. The owner is a good guy that stands behind the product. He is also a racer and also owned an Elise.
