2009 CRF230M - Honda Powersports Suzuki Cycles - Product Lines - Cycles - Products - DR-Z400 - 2009 - DRZ400SM the supermoto / motards are great inner city bikes - soak up the bad pavement, can take a beating and abuse. you don't want anything too powerfull - its hard to learn how to ride on an overpowerd bike... something light and agile. the only thing "protecting" you on two wheels is agilty, stopping power and aceleration. scooters have none of that so your a sitting duck. on a real bike, you can at least have a chance to "get" yourself out of a bad situation. off course if you want to leap frog into ultra street creed coolness... Ducati.com ...is the only way to go!

Certainly the are practical in Europe with special lanes and special parking. There are some rocking scooter clubs in the USA. It may work for you.
I fell in love/lust in Madrid when a beautiful woman on a Vespa with a pudding head helmet stopped at a light next to me. Dammed digital camera took too long to boot up. I want a classic Vespa for occasional commuting and joy rides but I can't find one at a condition and price I like. |
