Well worth waiting for. Capt Slow and the Hamster build a Space shuttle out of an old Robin Reliant (olf fibre glass three wheeler car). This episode must have cost a few bucks to make.

You got lucky that somebody with a 100Mbit seedbox was seeding the torrent and had a fast connection to you. Those are normal or even slow speeds on private trackers

Hi John -

Yes, 8 mbps from roadrunner (Time Warner). At least that's what I'm paying for...

They must have exceeded the normal budget this week. We were laughing so hard during this episode, it was truly excellent.

Sitting here with Lil (Modern Wedgie) and we laughed so hard my neighbor downstairs was banging on the ceiling! Whatever the budget, the fact that they accomplished what they did is remarkable.

Just watched this Sunday's episode of TG... WTF is going on!? They spend 6 minutes on the Porsche 997 turbo, one of the most significant cars this year and don't even test it on the track I am sure they are saving it for another day, but come on lads, 6 minutes!?... This season has been complete bolocks to me. It just doesn't feel right, seems like they are just trying to get this season over with. Where is the 599 GTB? Where is the 997 GT3? Where is the LP640? The new Alfa Spider? The BMW M roadster or Coupe?

... I hope the best is still to come because this is quite possibly the worst few episodes of TG i have seen i awhile... I don't want to see a freaking road trip across the US, or see how construction workers in the UK suck.... I want to see more CARS!!!

Rant over now

On a plus note though Jeremy said he will be driving a new Lambo... I hope it's the LP640.

Neil

Just a guess, but they probably didn't test the tt on the track because Porsche wouldn't let them, for whatever reason. Look, I know how you feel about the variety portion of the show, but if they don't mix it up, they'll run out of segments to fill and the show itself will become very mundane and one-note. "Leave them wanting more."

That being said, I'll bet you anything you'll see the LP640 next week.
