Wink What men like about Elise

Hopefully I won't be flamed by females in the crowd. I was just thinking about why men seem to be so attracted to (the) Elise, and thought I would share. Maybe the Lotus design team is sending men subliminal messages. Of course, need to keep it clean.

What men like about Elise:
Curvy, with narrow waist
Big smile
Nimble
Likes to run topless
Sweet to handle
Big, almond shaped eyes
No need for bling
Two big soft cushions in front (air bags)
Tight entry
Sporty
Low weight, lean
Fast
Smooth bottom
Eye liner (around headlights)
Small feet (space)
Cozy
Round tail (lights)
Rolls easily (on wheels)
Tight suspension
Nice purr
Everyone else is envious
Looks higher price than she really is
Possibly low maintenance
Communicates well
Exotic looking
Dim (headlights)
Nice legs
Great Grip

What men don’t like about Elise:
Late
High maintenance (maybe)
Can’t carry much
Whines when busy

Speaking from experience, I was going to add 'English accent' to the list, but Transio *sort of* beat me to it.... I say 'sort of' because there is no such thing as a "British accent" seeing as Britain is England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and those accents are VERY different. Common American mistake though, so you are forgiven. Just don't do it again...

The reason the Elise appeals to women is probably because of how it differs from real men:

- looks better as it gets older (S2 vs S1)
- plenty of feedback (good communication)
- doesn't drink too much
- isn't weighed down with a bunch of stuff that isn't important
- starts first time
- ready to go anytime of day or night (and up to full speed in a matter of seconds!)
- never gets boring
- puts me in a good mood everytime it's near
- when I'm out with it, other girls are jealous!

How about:
endurance
stick (shift)
stays in the groove
pounding ride (LSS)
fun to sit on
comes with 4 rubbers (tires)
comes with a fix-a-flat
wriggly
not demanding
easy to command
looks great topless

but, unfortunately for women, no vanity mirrors

I think a phrase once used by Tiff Needell on Fifth Gear best describes why men like the Elise:

Top shelf automotive pornography

By the way, the Lamborghini Miura was intentionally designed to be feminine, from its graceful curves to the eyelashes added to the headlights.

Provides inspires a lot of confidence and a constant boost to the ego. And if you piss it off, takes it all away in a matter of seconds.

"- isn't weighed down with a bunch of stuff that isn't important"

I think that belongs in the 'why guys like it' section

Also, if you can't have a British accent, how can you have an English accent ? Which one would it be ? Geordie ? Or Cockney ? Maybe Manc ?

P.S. Wales doesn't have an accent. It's just what english sounds like when you got half a pint of phlegm in your mouth

Why men sometimes prefer the Elise over a woman? Elise comes with a 3 year 36K warranty!

Fine point! I expect being made in Norfolk, the Elise would speak like Alan Partridge. Now that's disturbing...

But if Elise was a woman, 36K would be what units? Dollars? Miles? Sexual acts? Words? Jewels? ...

From the woman's point of view, the units would be in 36K jewels, but from my POV, it would be in miles. Now how do I explain my getting 36,000 miles out of a woman? HHHMMMMMM......well, one thing I know...she would not be walking well!
