I can complaint about my teams, The Lakers won last year, the Yanks this year, all I need is Dallas to win and I get the triple crown...

Money doesn't buy you a championship, remember the Marlins?
The Yankees spend that kind of money every year, if your theory is correct they should win pretty much every other year....

My answer is (B) if you ever played any organized sports you would know there is a Major effect called team chemistry..... and that my friend has nothing to do with talent, money or Science.....Don't forget, it was 8 years ago last time money bought a championship with the Yankees!! If Mr. Steinbrenner knew this fact, he wouldn't spend so much money every year to be a champion, it doesn't guarantee you anything....and personally find this, kind of embarrassing!! 19Mil marlins beating 287 Mil Yankees, at least you have to agree with me on that one...(notice the M in marlins is lower case

I don't agree about the Marlins. They're contenders for the play-offs usually, but the Yankees are always in the play-offs, save for last season. It's just hard to get over the hump with a bunch of AAA rejects making $50k a year

The price of being a little bit better is always quite high.

i would never discount team chemistry, but i would have to agree, this yankee team is probably a bit lacking relatively. i know, they won it all, so the proof is in the pudding, but look at their outfield. i cant think of a ws team that didnt have at least 1 star in the outfield. sure they have jeter, a rod and texiera, just sayin.

generally teams are not as good as they were years ago. expansion has taken its toll. ah, i guess it is what it is.
congrats to the yankees. nice to see joe girardi do well.
