Anyone reset the Lotus adjustable bar?
Has anybody out there with track experience played around with the looser/more oversteer settings on the factory adjustable antiroll bar? I put one in my Elise (048's, Track Pack shocks, basically an Exige now) and haven't had a chance to experiment with settings yet. The car handles pretty well, but I'm thinking about trying to take out some steady-state understeer this way (for the track). Anyone tried it?
I know lots of people are using aftermarket bars but I am wondering about setting the factory bar as used in the Exige... thanks. |

Hi. I did actually do this a while back. I wanted to get rid of a bit of push, so I softened the front bar 1 hole from factory (which I believe was in the center of 5 holes?). That wasn't enough, so I softened my front shocks (track pack, LSS, whatever they're part of) 1 click. It didn't end up perfect, but it was an improvement.
