Lotus Sport Ohlins
Is anyone running the sport ohlins with the stiffer springs like those supplied on the cup cars?
I believe the spring rates are 458/571. P/N-LOF1G50 I have read all the ohlin posts i can find and most of them refer to the softer sprung ones sold by S111. My elise is not a daily driver but it is used on back road blasts as well as going to the track. I just wondering how these dampers cope with rougher roads and whether the car gets bounced of line going around corners. Jack if your listening your feedback would be appreciated. I am running the 2-way adjustible Ohlins form Lotus Sport. They have softer springs than the Sector 111 units.
They are listed on the box as units for Exige S2 and Elise 111R Front is 325 lbs/in Rear is 425 lbs/in The adjustment for the street settings is much better than the sport suspension they replaced. The track settings are much better too. I am VERY happy with the Ohlins For anyone else running this suspension I would like to compare settings for track and street

Thanks for the replies Green Hornet
I'm really interested in anyone running the stiffer set up. LOF1G50 LOF2G50 LOF3G50 LOF4G50 These are still not as hard as some of the nitrons but most of the way there. Just want to make sure I'm not completely handicapping its road use. |
