Lotus suspension (ohlins, etc...)

Anyone know if we can get the 240R suspension bits?

From this article (read the last paragraph), it seems like they have a nice Ohlins-based setup.

Ohlins is finishing up a 111R version of their double adjustable dampers, I have one of the development sets. Light silver colored. You can also see a higher end version in use on the one-of-a-kind 400 HP version they made for a private party.

Note something else about the 240R...it has a 42/58 front rear weight balance. We're at 38/62 and I've noted that this might be a bit too rear heavy. Given the tendency of the car to corner the very hardest when at about 0.2 gs of trail braking, for example.

We are already selling the Ohlins for all of our Sport 275 and Race 400 ciustomers. They are $2400 and we have two versions with different spring rates depending on your use of the car.

Interesting given I just spoke to Ohlins and they said they have no rear shocks in stock because they are still under development??? They told me that the length of the rears needs to changed to fit the US Elise and they need to be revalved.

So, which Ohlins shocks are you guys selling? What are your spring rates?

I'm confused...

I think Forcefed has done a terriffic job with their Turbos and deserves to be considered even against a supercharger, esspecially if you want something now. That said, other options will be available shortly from a variety of sources. I think that in hind sight, Forcefed will be to the Elise what Saleen is to the Mustang. However, ther always is that new Shelby, ..........................hmmmmmm

Do I read that as any spring rate between 275lbs to 400lbs? Thanks.

Those numbers refer to their 275HP and 400HP Turbo setups.

I'm still waiting for those spring rates too... C'mon, Brett... please either spill the beans or just tell us you are still tuning...
