Need help deciding..
I'm looking to get wheels for my car. Hopefully for track use. And this since I will go that way I need some good performance and lightweight wheels. I've decided on SSR wheels. I hear good things about them and I happen to like some of their style.
I'm looking at 3 things... Type F euro SSR Wheels - SSR Type-F Euro Typc C SSR Wheels OR SP1 SSR Wheels - SSR Professor SP-1 Now I know I should go smaller wheels and blah blah... but i'm maybe thinking of 17s but we'll see. What do you guys think?? |

Wheels
I use less expensive wheels for track. I have a set of more expensive Denag wheels for the street and heavier Team Dynamics 15/17 wheels for the track. The TD wheels are affordable. The 15s only weigh about 13lbs and the 17s weigh about 18... I run the heavy wheels on the track, because wheels get destroyed on the track. Track rock chips, brake dust, and heat just make the wheels look bad in a season no matter how often you clean them. So I use my expensive wheels for the street... I don't really care if my TD wheels get beat up in the track...
BWR sells the TD wheels. ![]() |

I have the Team Dynamics wheels in stock. I have the 16/17 and I have 15" as well. I took delivery this week on the "Pro Race 1.2 Red Stripe" in 16/17.

Hmm, well I can understand the expensive wheels for DD and Non expensive for track. It's fall and winter soon. I know it'll still be hot in the tracks but not as hot during summer. Has anyone actually messed up the wheels by the heat? And i'm not just talking about the cheap kind of wheels... but expensive ones.
